Friends and Family Support
Most CTHVN groups are exclusive to folks who have lived experiences. This virtual group, however, is for those who don't. Friends, family, support figures, and more can find community and information with peers!
Friends & Family Support Group Starting On October 1st, 2025!
You asked, we answered.

We've received requests from all over the state to create a group to support friends and family of voice-hearers. Folks want a place to learn about the voice-hearing experience and how best to support voice-hearers, explore difficult questions, and connect with others in the community. The weekly Friends and Family virtual support group is that place!
While the group is guided by facilitators who are voice-hearers in order to provide representation, we ask that voice-hearers seeking support join one of our groups aimed at folks with lived experience, which you can find listed here. Voice-hearers and those who support them benefit from difference spaces that allow everyone to have open conversations, confront difficult topics, and connect with others who understand.
Everyone age 16 and up in a support role is welcome in the friends and family group! Come join a facilitated conversation on voice-hearing and find the community you've been looking for!
